A Journey of Hope and Progress in Togo and Beyond
Over the past three years, AMORPH SYSTEMS has been on a transformative journey alongside FRIENDSHIFTS, working tirelessly to empower underprivileged children in Togo and beyond. As we reflect on the progress made from 2021 to 2023, it’s heartening to see the positive impact our joint efforts have had on shaping the futures of these young minds.
In 2023, FRIENDSHIFTS continued their impactful training programs in Togo, introducing participants to essential computer skills. Covering topics such as creating email addresses, navigating Yahoo Mail, exploring Wikipedia, using YouTube tutorials, and leveraging Google Maps and Translate, the comprehensive courses comprised 18 lessons. Of the 77 engaged participants, most of them completed the training, showcasing resilience in overcoming challenges.
Jordan: Extending Reach
Empowering Youth in Amman
In April, FRIENDSHIFTS expanded initiatives to Amman, Jordan, collaborating with Liwan Youth Space to organize an IT course for 16 vulnerable youth on Microsoft Office. Participants significantly enhanced their capabilities in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Six of them were integrated into a lifestyle program, facilitated for 1000 youth in Amman. This initiative marked their first remunerated assignment, demonstrating the effectiveness of the training and the participants‘ dedication to applying their new skills in practical work settings.
